Mount Nebo is a magnet to those seeking to begin their New Year’s resolutions with a challenge. More so since the establishment of the Monument multi use trails. Today was no exception.
Mountain bikers, downhill riders, walkers, joggers, hikers from far and wide were drawn to the “mountain” to start their 2025 resolutions.
Just to be outside this morning was a success. Clear, cold and breezy skies greeted the fun loving goal seekers.
Parking lots were full of vehicles from across the Country.
Bike racks carried every type of bike imaginable. Huffy, Giant, Trek, Salsa, Surly, Specialized, and even a few BMX bikes made tracks on the miles of trails at Mt. Nebo State Park.
You are doing it right by just showing up. It does not matter what bike you have, what you wear (please wear a helmet.), or what your ability is. Showing up is a win.
This is my attempt and beginning of a 2025 goal of mine to write more about all things adventure in the River Valley. I hope you enjoy!
